We, at the Courtyard Hotels, City Lodges, Town Lodges and Road Lodges give and stay by a promise for every reservation made. We will always hold your reserved room until 6pm on the day of arrival. Should you arrive and your reserved room is not vacated by a previous guest, the Host Hotel will:

• Reserve a room at (and pay the difference in the room tariff) and arrange transportation to another equivalent hotel.

• Pay for a telephone call to notify your home or office of the change.

If you guarantee to pay for one night’s accommodation we will keep your room all night, “all night guaranteed reservation” unless you cancel by 6pm on the day of arrival. You can guarantee with an approved credit card. Please have the credit card number handy when you call.

If the hotel does not have a room available and you have an “All Night Guaranteed Reservation,” the full cost of the first night’s lodging will be paid by the hotel. At an alternative hotel.

All reservation clerks at all Courtyard Hotels, City Lodges, Town Lodges and Road Lodges are trained to confirm and reconfirm if the reservation is a 6pm release or an “All Night Guaranteed” reservation. If a guarantee is not received, the reservation will be released at 6pm on the day of arrival.

Families with children are requested to book a suitable room type. City Lodges with "sleeper sofa" rooms allow two children whose combined ages are under 18 to stay for free. Courtyard Port Elizabeth, City Lodge OR Tambo and City Lodge GrandWest do not have "sleeper sofas" but "interleading rooms" are available.

Town Lodges have an option for an interleading door between two rooms please book two rooms and "interleading rooms" must be selected as a special request.

Courtyard Suite Hotels allow one child under 18 to stay for free, please book a one bedroom suite and request an extra bed.
